TimeTec has been successfully granted with a new patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Specifically, the patent involves the recording of electronic attendance from mobile devices on NFC Tags. Near Field Communication (NFC is a set of short-range wireless technologies that adapts the concept of MiFare for data transmission and can likewise be used to store information such as Geolocations.

As a technology-driven developer for workforce management systems, TimeTec taps on the NFC technology with the use of NFC tags in replacing the conventional checkpoint devices for time and attendance clocking. In doing so, TimeTec took on the Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) concept to turn the ubiquitous smartphones into a clocking device for mobile workforce. That said, this innovative clocking method is all made possible by our amazing Smart Solution: TimeTec TA.

TimeTec TA is a cloud-based solution that brings workforce management to a whole new level by allowing employees to efficiently clock in their attendances via smartphones (NFC, Beacon, Wifi) as well as various other options (Biometrics, Web). Experience TimeTec TA today to prevent tardiness, absenteeism and other counterproductive work behaviours through its automated time attendance system.

TimeTec is a company that progresses leaps and bounds by tapping on the readily available technologies to build better systems, to create better products and to provide better conveniences for our staffs and customers alike. For more information on TimeTec list of patents, click on the link below.
