TimeTec Parking has successfully helped the leading parking operator, Times24 Malaysia Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Secure Parking), launch its e-invoice on 1 January 2025 through the TimeTec e-invoice Middleware solution for over 170 parking sites across Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak.
The TimeTec Parking Middleware solution includes the TimeTec middleware compliance portal, which integrates with multiple existing Times24 parking systems via their databases, and directly links to the LHDN MyInvois Portal (see Figure 1.0). The Middleware Portal also integrates with Times24’s backend accounting system to ensure smooth, automated operations.

The TimeTec e-Invoice Middleware comprises the following modules:

The TimeTec Parking Middleware facilitates the following parking activities:
1. Collecting and storing parking payment transactions (casual, valet, compound) from various parking sites under different payment types.
2. Providing a QR code for each parking site so customers can request e-invoices.
3. Submitting transactions without personal or company tax information as consolidated e-invoices.
4. Submitting transactions with personal or company tax information as individual e-invoices.
5. Returning data to the Times24 accounting system when an admin cancels e-invoices (at the customer’s request or by self-cancellation) and creating credit notes.
The TimeTec Middleware system can also handle season passes that include customer tax information, provided by the Times24 season pass system.
Comprehensive Admin and User Interface
In addition, TimeTec Middleware provides a comprehensive user interface and workflows for admins to manage all transactions mentioned above and submit them as invoices, credit notes, debit notes, or refund notes—fully complying with LHDN e-invoice governance. The Middleware web app allows users to register and fill in personal, vehicle, and card information. Any parking records related to a vehicle registration number or payment card number are associated with the user’s account. Users can view, request, and reject e-invoices directly from the web app.
Besides Times24, TimeTec Parking Middleware has also helped several other parking operators that face challenges upgrading their parking equipment, enabling them to centralize and comply with e-invoice requirements.
