TimeTec Receives Patent Approval for Webster, System & Method for Transferring Electronic Information

TimeTec Computing Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce that the U.S. Patent Office has recently approved TimeTec’s submission on A System & Method for Transferring Electronic Information, paving the way for the company to stand strong amongst the other biometrics brand suppliers and cloud solution providers in the world.

The approval of this first patent, US 14/560,582, "System & Method for Transferring Electronic Infomation," covers the company's need to provide a flexible network that able to facilitate different biometric devices which are located at different rural areas such that biometric data and activities of the biometric devices are automatically transferred and stored in a centralized data, where the information is able to be retrieved and monitored.

According to Mr Teh Hon Seng, Chief Executive Officer for TimeTec Computing Sdn. Bhd. Systems, the company is in the process of establishing an intellectual property depository, with this patent approved, 2 more U.S. filings in process, 6 filings done locally and another 6 submissions in the pipeline. These applications cover biometrics devices, attendance and cloud systems which include patrolling guard cloud solution TimeTec Patrol, residential visitor management system i-Neighbour, cloud hiring solution TimeTec Hire, Leave cloud solution management TimeTec Leave and many more. "With these patents in place, TimeTec Computing will be well-positioned as one of the leaders in biometrics, cloud technology in attendance and various areas of concern", Teh said.

Mr Teh Hon Seng stressed that the company plans to file for patents to protect the Company from future challenges.
